This website is operated by Paxtle Studios LLC ("Paxtle Studios," "we," "us"). We collect only what we need, and we state it directly rather than burying it.
What we collect
- What you send us through the contact form
- Whatever you choose to enter: a message, and optionally a name, an email address, and a reason for writing. Only the message is required. We also record the time of submission and the IP address the message came from, to help us deal with automated spam.
- If you subscribe to updates
- Your email address, held by our email provider, Buttondown. We use it only to send occasional updates about Auzlin. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately.
- Basic server information
- Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and is retained by the host according to its own schedule.
- What we do not collect
- We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or non-essential cookies on this site. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. There are no accounts and no payments.
Why we use it
- To send you updates about Auzlin, if you subscribed.
- To reply to you, if you left an address and asked for a reply.
- To understand what kinds of groups are interested, so we build the right thing.
- To keep the website working and free of spam.
Who else sees it
We use service providers to host this site, carry our email, and deliver our update list. They process your information only to provide those services to us. Our email list is operated by Buttondown, whose privacy policy is published at buttondown.com/legal/privacy. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep messages sent through the contact form until we no longer need them, or until you ask us to delete them. We keep subscriber addresses until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
If you subscribed to updates, every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we will not add you to the list unless you ask. We do not send marketing beyond those updates. You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — use the contact form and say so, and we will act on it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the UK/EU GDPR; we will honor valid requests under those laws.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where your information is handled
Paxtle Studios LLC is based in the United States, and information submitted through this site is processed there.

If we change this notice we will update the date above.

What this site is
An informational site about a product in development. Nothing here is an offer to sell, a commitment to ship, a guarantee of any feature, or a promise of a release date. Descriptions of Auzlin describe what we intend to build, and intentions change as we learn.
Update emails
Subscribing to updates is optional and free, and you can unsubscribe from any message we send. We do not promise a delivery schedule, a release date, or any particular feature in those updates.
Writing to us
Sending us a message does not create any agreement between us, and we do not guarantee a reply. Please do not send us confidential information, or ideas you expect us to keep secret or pay for.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to this site or its systems, do not scrape it at a volume that degrades it, and do not use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages or someone else's personal information.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we link to.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
This website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paxtle Studios LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Intellectual property
The Auzlin name, wordmark, site design, text, and images are owned by Paxtle Studios LLC and may not be reproduced without permission, except for ordinary quotation with attribution.
Independence. Auzlin is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, Paizo, or any other tabletop roleplaying game publisher. Any game system, publisher, or product named on this site is named for identification only, and all such marks belong to their respective owners.
Game content. Where Auzlin uses published game rules, it will do so only under an applicable open or granted license, and the required attributions and license notices will be published with the product.
